I apologize for slacking on sharing my thoughts with you. It's been a busy year and trying to keep everything in order has been quite the ordeal.

It's interesting thinking back over the years and all the people that have crossed your path. Some good and well, some not so good.

How does one keep the bad memories from overtaking the good?

With summer upon us, my mind goes to camp. The Army and summer camp goes hand in hand.

Now the Christmas season is past us I can sit and reflect upon my childhood and see how The Army had a major influence on the lives of me and my family.

As the child of Officers, Christmas is one thing. Chaos. That word seems to sum it up greatly. There wasn't a Christmas growing up where one would be able to sit and bask in the glow the lights or take in the decorations. It seemed that we were being stretched from one point to another.

Over the next few days, I am going to do my best to dig up some old Christmas stories that you might find interesting.
